INDIGO DYING

It's been a few months of workshops and re learning for me.

I'm at point in life where getting back to basics and using only natural and plant based products are a high priority in my day to day living.

I've know the wonderful Victoria Larnach www.victiroalarnach.com for a few years now, but hadn't  had a chance to learn about her gift of Indigo Dying that she has to share.

So when an opportunity came up for me to be involved I jumped. This workshop had another genus Kate Nelson www.iquitplastics.com  involved so not only were we going to experience one of the oldest traditional dying methods, we were going to be treated to how to create our own natural body scrub, deodorant and toothpaste.

It was a day full of wisdom that had been handed down throughout generations, traditional knowledge gifted to Victoria was now in our hands.

Having the skills of how to make natural products for our skin, that not only, have no chemical or pollutants in them, smell divine and knowing that I have made a better choice.

Knowing what I now know, I wont be purchasing any un natural fabric, or any body creams with all those chemicals in them, as our skin is our biggest organ and our ocean is mother earths lungs.
